Art through the eyes of the imaginary

*video was recorded many months before this post was completed. I have added my recent project below to show sustained commitment up until now.

Throughout my sustained process of becoming the artist who I am today, I have developed many different skills and learned to bring my own expression into all the work that I do. One of the projects that I have been working on during the summer includes ‘popcustomshoes’. Other than all the work that I have done in school, I also am able to express myself as an artist through this. Over the summer, I created a business. I paint custom designs onto white shoes and am able to incorporate my skills from business, design as well as art class to be successful in this business.

Through the development of this business, I have learned to use my imagination/creativity to make shoe designs and find the inner artist/businesswoman that I have become. I have used marketing, photography, and the art of creating custom designs to show the practices that I have developed as an artist. I am very proud of this business and hope to keep progressing my work in the future.
